Charles told me he liked the fries at the convenience store up the road. I agreed. Later I was with a young girl. Another girl came along to speak with us. Then I ran into my last, surviving Aunt. I told her I lived on Spears Rd., but corrected myself immediately. She didn't seem to pick up on my correction, however. Yet later I was on a couch with a blanket pulled up over my legs. A man came in & sat in a chair nearby.I was just thinking yesterday that the store up the road has really good french fries. The couch I was on seemed to be in the living room of my old house on Spears Road in Ft. Erie, which has probably been on my mind due to recent memories of lake effect snows, which are worse in Ft. Erie than anywhere else in the Niagara Region.
The picture is looking west over Lake Ontario from the world's tallest free standing structure, the CN Tower. The curve of Earth's surface is visible from such a height, as is the mist from Niagara Falls, over an hour's drive away.

OK now that is an incredible picture. Simply breathtaking! And all of a sudden I'm hungry for french fries.
It was a fun day. Living in Toronto was like living in hell, but that day out with my roomies was such a welcome break!
I'm hankering some fries now, too...

Julie; It was a cold, blustery day, actually. Standing out on the deck to get this shot was unpleasant, at best. It was much better inside, having an overpriced Cosmopolitan & watching a small plane practicing take offs & landings at the island airport below. Regardless, the view is always stunning. :)

Gorgeous, stunning photograph! There's something to be said about the beauty of the cold. Of course, I have to say that given where I am . . . but still. As for french fries, I could stand some right about now for breakfast instead of the crap I have in my house.

Cool picture. Lake effect snow, yeah . . . and French Fries, reminds me of fries standing in cups at some places, putine, fries with vinegar, fries with mustard, fries with hot sauce or ketchup and salt, all making me hungry on a cold dank day in De-troit. . .

Marvin; Thanks. Yeah, I love heights. A section of the floor up there is made of glass, too, so you can look straight down all the way to the ground between your feet. A little weird-feeling, but still cool! :)
LOL, Lana. I could do it -- steel the nerves a little and do it, but if my wife ever took one step out onto that glass section...... Well, let's just say I'd be in the market for a new wife -- one who's heart was still beating.
