We went for a picnic & walk at
Bogue Falaya Park today. Considering the beautiful weather (77F & partly cloudy with a nice breeze,) I thought it might be busy. Instead it was practically deserted.

For scale, the opening under these bamboo trees is tall enough to walk under.

Also, if you're keeping track, this morning was the New Moon.

Looks like a wonderful visit for sure!
Lovely places, lana - envy you the weather. It's been cold, windy and wet here all weekend - stripped the oaks bare.
Neat ideas in the shop!
Mon@rch; Very nice time, yes.
Julie; My sympathies. Around this time of year I sometimes reminisce about Canadian weather to help me appreciate the South it even more. (Forcast says 80F for today & tomorrow with evening lows in the mid-60s. Ahhhhhhhhh.)
More lovely pics, as always. No pictures of our boat and it's love passengers?
Charles; I thought you wanted to present the boat...My bad. I'll hook it up after work today.
